1982 Jeep CJ5 Restoration
Sadly I have few photos of this fine Jeep. I was working for a wrecker service starting a new locksmith division before starting my own company in 1996. I went down into Nashville one day to make a car key and saw this sorry Jeep in a guys front yard. I cant even remember what I paid for it but I did the whole works - new seats, paint, wheels, rebuilt the straight 6,new top. I kept the Jeep until around when I sold it to my good friend Wilbur Kloog who has since passed away from cancer. I don't remember who he sold it to tho after having it 3 or 4 years. It was the coldest vehicle to drive in the winter but was rock solid as far as the 4wd.
